Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), nicknamed “J-Lo“, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

Lopez ventured into the music industry with her debut studio album On the 6 (1999), which helped propel the Latin pop movement in American music. With the simultaneous release of her second studio album J.Lo and her romantic comedy The Wedding Planner in 2001, Lopez became the first woman to have a number one album and film in the same week. Her 2002 remix album, J to tha L–O! The Remixes, became the first in history to debut at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. Later that year, she released her third studio album This Is Me… Then, and appeared in Maid in Manhattan.

Althought she released eight studio albums, two compilation albums, one extended play, three box sets, and 63 singles (including 13 as a featured artist, nine promotional singles and four charity singles). Lopez has sold 80 million records worldwide, including 40 million albums.

Kelly Clarkson (born April 24, 1982)is an American singer, songwriter, actress and author. She rose to fame in 2002 after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been referred to as the “Original American Idol” and the “Queen of Covers”. She also became the runner-up of World Idol the following year. Signing with RCA Records, Clarkson released her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Trying to reinvent her own image, Clarkson decided to part ways with American Idol management and developed a rock-oriented sound for her second album, Breakaway (2004). It sold over 15 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

Taking creative control of her third album, My December (2007), she served as the executive producer and co-wrote the entire album’s material. Clarkson’s sixth album and first Christmas music release, Wrapped in Red (2013), became the best-selling holiday album of the year, making her the first American female artist to achieve this goal. In 2015, Clarkson released her seventh and final album under RCA, Piece by Piece (2015), which was her third album to debut at number-one on the Billboard 200.

Her musical work has also gained her numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, twelve Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards. In a career spanning over a decade, Clarkson has accumulated 3 Billboard number-one hits and sold over 25 million albums worldwide.In 2012, she was ranked nineteenth on VH1’s list of “100 Greatest Women in Music.” Billboard also ranked Clarkson as the 14th-best-selling artist of the 2000s.

The Backstreet Boys (often abbreviated as BSB) are an American vocal group,[2] formed in Orlando, Florida in 1993. The group consists of A. J. McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell.

The group rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys (1996). In the following year they released their second international album Backstreet’s Back (1997), and their U.S. debut album which continued the group’s success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album Millennium (1999) and its follow-up album, Black & Blue (2000).

Melanie Janine Brown (born 29 May 1975), better known as Mel B, Melanie B and, for a short time, as Melanie G, is a British presenter, television personality, recording artist, actress, author and model. Brown rose to fame as a member of the girl group the Spice Girls, in which she was known as Scary Spice. Brown began her solo career when she released “I Want You Back” with Missy Elliott on Virgin Records. The single charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, followed by the release of her debut album, Hot (2000). The album also saw the release of two top 10 singles “Tell Me” and “Feels So Good”. L.A. State of Mind was Brown’s second studio album, released in 2005 on the independent label Amber Café, which saw the release of one single, “Today” in June that year. In mid-2012, Brown announced a return to her solo recording career with the release of her third studio album by signing with EMI Music Australia. The scope of the deal with EMI office includes concessions for global partnering with EMI. The first single from the album, “For Once in My Life” was released in September 2013, becoming Brown’s first record to be released after eight years.

Melanie Jayne Chisholm (born 12 January 1974), better known as Melanie C or Mel C, is an English singer, songwriter, actress and television personality. She is one of the five members of the Spice Girls, in which she was nicknamed Sporty Spice, and sold over 100 million records worldwide as a group. Melanie C began her solo career in late 1998 by singing with Canadian rock singer Bryan Adams on the song “When You’re Gone”. Her solo debut album Northern Star was released in 1999 and reached number four on the UK Albums Chart and was certified triple Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). It produced four top fives and a top twenty single, two of which reached the number-one spot in the UK.

Graham found her break in 2007 when she was featured on “The Donque Song” and “I Got It From My Mama” on singer/rapper will.i.am’s third studio album Songs About Girls. The move saw Graham embark on a world tour with The Black Eyed Peas as a supporting act for the Black Blue & You Tour. In April 2010, the song “My Boyfriends Back” released on YouTube and got over 1 million views In October 2010 Graham released her debut single “Sassy”.

Michelle Branch

Michelle Branch (born July 2, 1983) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. During the early 2000s, she released two top-selling albums, The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper. She won a Grammy with Santana for “The Game of Love”.

In 2005, she formed the country music duo The Wreckers with friend and fellow musician Jessica Harp, and produced the Grammy-nominated single “Leave the Pieces”. The Wreckers disbanded in 2007 to pursue their respective solo careers. Since then, she released extended plays in 2010 and 2011, and is reportedly working on another studio album.
